How to specify the Trim server to connect to?

Jump to solution

On the following sample, how do  specify the Trim server I want to connect to?

using (var db = new Database())
{
 db.Connect();
 Console.WriteLine(db.Id);
}

 Or do I need to use WebServices to do this?

Cheers

John

Just before calling the db.Connect, you can set db.Workgroupserver to the desired workgroupserver.

You may also choose to configure db.WorkgroupserverPort (only needed when not using the default TRIM ports) and db.Id (you should select the desired dataset id) before connecting.
