Issues installing HPE RM 8.3 license file and company name

We are experiencing problems installing our license file and company name, please see the image below and company name was copied directly from the license data file.   Please see attachment with printscreen from failed install.

Any help with this issue would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Re: Issues installing HPE RM 8.3 license file and company name

Is that license file for 8.3 or was it one from an earlier version of 8?

You can open the file in notepad and check to see if the name you are using is the same in the license.

If those don't work, log a case and our licensing team can assist.

Re: Issues installing HPE RM 8.3 license file and company name

II have found that what is shown in the license file (the .dat) one is not neccessarily the correct string to use when entering the details in TES.

What you need is what is shown in the HP Activation Certificate that comes with the dat file. The value you need is what is shown underthe 'Locking ID' field on that certificate. I have found that the does not always match what is shown in the dat file. It has to match the Locking ID field 100% - case, etc.

Regards,

Mike.
