RM 8.1 Help File Download?

Hi there

Some IT people here are wanting to plan the RM 8.1 upgrade. In the Installation guide, it advises to check the TRIM Enterprise Studio Help for procedures on how to do certain tasks. These IT people are wanting to know specifically what steps these tasks entail (for example, create the Dataset - see TRIM Enterprise Studio Help for how to do this).

Is there any chance I can download the Help documents separately so we can have them available for planning before the upgrade?

They come with the install, in the program files folder once Record manager is installed.

But i've attached them for you.

Hi Mandy,

Not able to view the TRIP.chm file in any viewers. Could you please send it again and if possible could you send me RM 8.20 help files. we have recently installed upgraded from 8.0 to RM 8.20 version. Help files will give us an idea on the functonality side.

Hi there

Do you get an error when you try to open the help files?

Also, as Greg mentioned, the help files are available once you've installed HP Records Manager, so if you have a running copy of HP Records Manager 8.2, the help file will be in the installation directory (which you can open it directly from) or you can access from the HP Records Manager client.
