RM8.1 new license format -how to. Use the existing license key

Hi All
I installed the RM8.1 it asked for the RM8.1 license key format. After contacting the licensing team they siggested I can use my exiting TRIM keys, however could not tell how and where to convert it.

It may be my ignorance however would appreciate if anyone has done the similar and let me know the process.

For the time being I generated the Trial license ( there is a button within the license screen to generate the Trial license)).
Thanks in advance.

Cheers,
Harry

Oops, I should have said 3 months, not two (can't count!)
Thanks Greg

No worries, let me know if you have any problems with that.

My demonstration licence on the RM8.1 development server still has a month to go.

However, when I open my production 7.3 dataset with the RM8.1 client, I'm getting a warning "your hp records manager demonstration license will expire in ... days"

Anybody have a cure for this?  If it stops working, I'll uninstall but I'd rather not lose my custom toolbars.

Regards

Pete

Investigation reveals that the client gets 90 days from the first time it is used to connect to a TRIM 7 dataset.  It appears that connecting to a RM 8.1 dataset is governed by the server licence, not a setting on the client.
