We have had a similar issues arise, but also in relation to documents.

Try going to System Options/  Record tab
2. Tick  ‘Extract metadata contained within the content of the document’ .
3.  OK

I also believe this may be reverting back -  bute we are noe monitoring it to be certain.

Just be aware that this also has an impact on how  MS document titles are captured in the CM profiling form.  Suggest you test thoroughly and decide if the behaviour is acceptable.  For us  it was has the effect of picking up the title from the properties, which  quite often was something lkike "Powerpoint Document"  or  "Word Document".     this is a bug that HP need to attend to.

I've just tested this and have found that, while it works for Outlook subject, it also, on a Word doc, takes the author from the properties in Word and uses that in Author field - in my organisation that is the username, e.g. heleng, which has no logical linkage to Locations - and how often is the Word author incorrectly carried over when a document is reused!

Poor endusers 😞
