Using check in styles for shared Outlook folders in CM9.2

My organisation has just upgraded from RM8.3 to CM9.2 this week. One unit has a lot of linked folders in a shared Outlook account, and we've run into a couple of issues:

1. Previously, the emails were deleting on check in, but now only show the content manager indicator, even though they have Delete selected in their document options. These are linked folders and don't show as having a check-in style attached. Is there something we can tick or untick to get this set up to delete the email on check in?

2. If we can't fix our current setup, I'm accepting that we may need to create check in styles for each folder, although the work unit won't be happy with all of the extra work. However, I've been testing check-in styles on a shared Outlook folder, with Delete after check in, Show check in dialogue, and I have made it owned by my work team. It works fine if I drop an email in the folder, but if another person drops the email in, the dialogue box comes up for me and not the person managing the email. We need to edit the title field on capture, so it is not a option to not show the check in form.

Have we got something set up incorrectly, or is there a way around either of these issues?

thanks,

Vanessa

1. If you have linked folders then there must be a related Checkin Style attached.  I do not believe 9/2 has a way of doing linked folders without Check in Styles.

2. I am not aware of Shared folders being supported, you may need a support request to follow this up.

Thanks David, I'll have to keep exploring then. The links are not showing when I use the Check in styles search on the admin tab, but anything placed in the Outlook folder is definitely being captured in CM. It is entirely possible that I'm missing something obvious though.

I'll raise a ticket for shared folders.

Thanks.

The behaviour on the shared folders is as expected. The check-in styles are client side. You should have had the same behaviour in 8.3, I did.
