Where in the OEM IDOL logs can we see if OEM IDOL is working properly or not?

How do we know if the OEM IDOL is working or not? Are there logs which we can refer to for indexed texts, errors, successful search?

Hi Marilou,

Page 129 of the DCI_Install_Config.pdf has a really good section for log file names and locations. I think you may want to take a look at the application.log (for general health) and the dih_Index.log for errors/success as well.
You can locate your logs by checking the LogDirectory ( [Logging] )configuration parameter in
the TRIM Content Service 1.cfg file, default location C:\Micro Focus Content Manager\IDOL\TRIM
Content Service 1\logs\application.log.
