Your HPE Records Manager License ExpiresToday - Wrong date in Registry

We are using HPE RM 8.3.0.9088.  We have three users which are getting the error message when they log onto RM and integrated Microsoft Office products:  "Your HPE Records Manager License Expires Today."

After that they cannot log in because the license has expired.

I checked the registry and sure enough the license expiry is 20170810 which is an error.   How is this possible?

We can manually change the date to the correct one but I am notsure that would solve the problem.

Any ideas as to why this happened?

Thanks for your help.
