connecting to test environment

how do I get my desktop client to connect to our test server instead of our production server?

Hi. You can do that from the "Open Content Manager Dataset" dialogue.

If you have the Status bar showing, you can double-click on your name or current dataset (bottom right-hand corner) to open it or select "Open Dataset" from the File menu.


1. From the "Open Content Manager Dataset" dialogue, select Add.

2. Select or enter your test workgroup server

3. Click Next and select the test dataset you want to add

4. Click Finish
