<(CM) Support tip>How to determine if all records have been converted to new Security Filter model

Incident description :

Since HPE CM 9.1.0, a new Security Filter has been implemented , and Security Filter Converter needs to be run to get ALL records converted to the new Security Filter model.

Information in this support tip post will help to find out if Security Filter has been run successfully.

Resolution                :

1, Execute the SQL query below against the database in SQL server management Studio or SQLPLUS :

SELECT COUNT(*) FROM TSRECORD WHERE ( ( rcAclGroupKey = 0 OR rcAclGroupKey IS NULL ) AND rcAccessIsCont = 'F' AND EXISTS ( SELECT 1 FROM TSACCESSCO WHERE ( axObject = 6 AND axObjectUri = TSRECORD.uri AND axType = 2 AND axSubType = 2 ) ) ) ORDER BY uri ASC ;

If the query returns a number other than 0, it means the Security Filter Converter hasn’t been run or it has been run but there are still records in the system which haven’t yet been converted to the new Security Filter model, hence the Security Filter Converter needs to be run again.

2, If the SQL query in previous step gives 0 count, then please execute the SQL below :

SELECT * FROM TSWRSYS WHERE code = N'CNVT_173';

If this query returns 0 row, it means Security Filter Converter has been run successfully, and all records have been converted to the new Security Filter Model.
