<(CM) Support tip>Questions about Check In Style and Linked Folder in HPE CM 9.1

Questions and Answers :

 1,   Is Default Check In Style required for all type of email checking in using Outlook and HPE CM integration ?

Answer   :    No,  HPE CM and Outlook integration provides two type of check-ins  :

1.1,  Check in using Linked folder, where a Check In Style is required;

1.2,   Manually Check in an email.

When user manually checks in an email, user can choose Check In With Style or Check in with Record Type.  And When user selects to check in with Record Type,  Check In Style is not needed.

Answer  :   User can create their own Check In Styles, however,  in HPE CM 9.1 Outlook integration, Check In Styles owned by a Group or Organization can be shared with all the Locations which are members of the Group or Organization location,  hence user can create Check In Styles and have the Check In Styles shared with all the users by setting the Check In Style Owner to be the Group or Organization location from Outlook Integration Check In Styles function.
