<(CM) Support tip>Security Filter Converter fail to process any item due to timeout
Incident description :
When running Security Filter Converter, a timeout error is received and 0 item is converted.
Cause :
The query being executed for retriving the items to be converted has taken longer time than the Command Timeout , which results in the query to find 0 items to be converted.
Resolution :
Before running the Security Filter Converter, please log on as Administrator to HPE CM Workgroup server > HPE CM Enterprise Studio > right click on the dataset > properties > Connection tab > Set Command Timeout value from current value to 0 (no timeout). Then deploy HPE CM Enterprise Studio configuration.
After that, please log on as HPE CM Administrator and run the Security Filter Converter again, and this time it should start to convert the selected items.
Once the Security Filter Converter completes converting all the items, please go to HPE CM Enterprise Studio > right click on the dataset > properties > Connection tab > set the Command Timeout to the desired value, and then deploy the HPE CM Enterprise Studio configuration.
