Packaging DRA Client in SCCM

Hi all,

I am having a problem installing DRA by command line using the below
command

DRAINSTALLER.MSI /QB TRANSFORMS=NETIQDRAADMINCONSOLE.MST

After running this command, which bombs out within a couple of minutes,
the below is logged in eventviewer

PRODUCT: NETIQ DIRECTORY AND RESOURCE ADMINISTRATOR --
ERROR: MISSING INSTALLER REQUIREMENT:
WHEN RUNNING A SILENT INSTALLATION, ALL PREREQUISITE CHECKS MUST
PASS AND REQUIRED INPUT PARAMETERS MUST BE PROVIDED IN A PARAMETER FILE
SPECIFIED ON THE COMMANDLINE.
CHECK THE %LOCALAPPDATA%\NETIQ\DRA\LOGS\SETUP FOLDER FOR
DRAVALIDATIONRESULTSREPORT.HTML AND VALIDATIONRESULTS*.TXT.

REFER TO THE INSTALLATION GUIDE FOR INSTRUCTIONS ON CREATING THE
PARAMETER FILE.

SAMPLE COMMAND (SPECIFIES VERBOSE LOG WITH SILENT OPTION AND
PARAMETER FILE):
MSIEXEC /I DRAINSTALLER.MSI /L*V INSTALL.LOG
PARAMETER_FILE=C:\MYFOLDER\PATH\PARMFILE.TXT
I have checked all of the install documentation which doesn't mention
anything about the PARAMETER_FILE switch, as it only mentions the MST.
can someone clarify this with me please?

Re: Packaging DRA Client in SCCM

FishThrower--I ran this issue by tech support and was advised that you
should double check that all of your prerequisite software is installed,
especially .NET and Visual C. They should have been installed by the DRA
setup application, but you should verify this.

If this doesn't help, it was advised that you contact tech support
directly.
