DP10.20 introduced a check during install/upgrade that a cell manager has 16GB of memory (as per technical recommendations). This is the value to aim for as a minimum on each production cell manager. However, it is often too great an allocation for lab & test cell managers with very small IDBs and low activity.
DP10.20 had an install parameter that would permit the memory check to be bypassed. However, this has been removed in DP10.40. Is there the possibility of having this reinstated for use in lab/test environments? This would be preferable to having to expand the customer's test environments, given their resource usage is so low.
Again, it should be possible to allow cell manager administrators to bypass the 16GB of memory for test and lab systems. This could possibly be done by using a message to the affect of "Unsupported environment -- use at your own risk" or similar statement.
