Configuring application integrations via CLI

I am building a Linux cell manager and I am trying to configure DB integrations using the CLI on the cell manager itself.

So far I have managed to do this only for Oracle databases (using omniintconfig.pl). Configuring the rest of the integrations (e.g. MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL etc.) seems to only work using the GUI or from the CLI on the client itself (e.g. with sql_bar.exe).

The ability to configure integrations (and backups) would make such tasks very easy to automate, which is very important for dynamic environments, where systems are created/scrapped on a regular basis.
