Ansible is a workflow management tool. AFAIK it doesn't have a backup API. What exactly 
do you wan to have supported? Ansible playbooks come as files ...

Maby this topic is about creating by MF set of Ansible modules that any customer is able to use for any data protector related tasks, keeping the ansible standarts of templating.
