Brief description:

Windows EADR requires different versions of WAIK/ADK for different versions of Windows clients (2008, 2008 R2, 2012, 2012 R2, 2016 and 2019). This becomes hard to maintain especially if the DR image creation needs to be done in the Data Protector GUI for ease of use. The GUI locates the WAIK/ADK installed using the PATH environmental on the Media Creation host. This makes using multiple versions of WAIK/ADK on the same Media Creation host impossible.

The omniiso command supports a -waik switch that allows having multiple WAIK/ADK on the same Media Creation host bypassing the PATH environmental.

This request is about a basic GUI modification that allows selection of the WAIK/ADK to be used during EADR image creation. Here is an example.

Benefit:

Reduce the amount of servers required to perform basic operation such as EADR image creation.
