Support of MSSQL 2017 on Windows Server 2016

I just have checked the 9.0x matrix and it's true that we just support Microsoft SQL Server 2016
No support for MSSQL 2017 yet – same with DP 10.0x

I found an open enhancement request for this from october 2017:

QCCR2A76492 Support of MSSQL 2017 on Windows Server 2016

still in status "awaiting decision" from product management

A huge flexcare customer needs support for that.

Helllo,

Please also consider Linux support for SQL Server 2017 since this might become quite popular in the future.

Hello,

Large Japanese users also expect this to be supported in DP 10.0x or the next version.

Support for SQL 2017 with Windows 2016 is now on the support matrix.  Linux support is still pending.
