[61:1002] backup client reached its inactivity timeout of 600 seconds.

hi .

i am getting below error and the backup for that client is getting failed.

The VBDA named "client_name [/C]" on host Client_name"

      reached its inactivity timeout of 600 seconds.

      The agent on host will be shutdown.

 

please help me out in this.

Hi,

That problem usually causes communication.

Check that the servers ping each other and that the telnet to port 5555 works in both ways.

It also reviews the user who lifts the Inet service on the client. 

You could add these variables to the client's omnirc file

you will need to create a file called omnirc (without extencion)instead of omnirc.TMPL and add the parameter that are above.

 SmPeerID=40

SmMaIdleTimeout=300

SmDaIdleTimeout=270

OB2INETTIMEOUT=80

OB2IPCKEEPALIVE=1
