(BN) Support Tip: Insufficient privileges for Backup Navigator OS User

Problem Description:

On Backup Navigator after adding Data Protector cell server the "Test Cell Manager Configuration" fails with following error -
-----------------------------------
Access permission to the Cell Manager
Insufficient privileges for Backup Navigator OS User

Ensure that the Backup Navigator OS user is added to the Data Protector user list
with sufficient user rights...
-----------------------------------

Cause

The error is somewhat misleading, in this case, the Backup Navigator OS user was added to the Data Protector user list.

From agent_core logs, we see these errors:

===============

17-02-15 10:10:43 INFO (Cell_host_name) AgentService - Updating datalists
17-02-15 10:10:43 ERROR (Cell_host_name) DatalistManipulation - Could not get information from datalist ().
Check if the Backup Navigator OS user is added to the Data Protector User List and has sufficient permissions.

================

Backup Navigator could not retrieve datalists information because there was no datalist / barlist configured on Data Protector Cell Server, which resulted above error.

Fix

To fix this error,  make sure -

Backup Navigator OS user is added to the Data Protector user list and

- Datalists or Barlists are created on Data Protector Cell Server.
