Backup Job Details Collection
Hi Friends,
I would like to know is there any command or procedure, how to collect the backup job details, like, i want in output, each backup specicication name and respective backup selections, target drive, pool, schedule and retention.
It would be great if anybody has any script to capture the same.
Thank You

You could create a report in Data Protector...
There are a lot of reports that could get you what you want. It won't be one single report, but you can create multiple ones...
Just a few to consider:
- Trees in Backup Specifications
- List of Sessions
- Session Specification Schedule
- Session Media Report

Hi,
you may give BRICK a try... http://www.data-protector.org/wordpress/brick/
It will gives you a documentation from your environment, including the stuff you asked for.
