DP 6.11 / SAP R3

Hello,

I have following Problem with SAP R3 Integrations. On SAP 4.7 the Integrations works perfect. But on a ERP 6.0 System I become this error message.

BR0278I Command output of 'C:\usr\sap\\SYS\exe\uc\NTAMD64\backint.exe -u -f backup -i D:\oracle\\sapbackup\.bebxrinp.lst -t file -c':
[Critical] From: OB2BAR_BACKINT@ "" Time: 11/16/2009 8:18:09 AM
Error: Cannot open file: "D:\oracle\\sapbackup\.bebxrinp.lst".
The file bebxrinp is created from the Backup.

Re: DP 6.11 / SAP R3

I had a similar problem after upgrading from 4.7 to 6, I do not remember exactly the solution but backint is creating the file in a folder but brbackup is specting the file in other, some change has to be made in the brtools configurations file.

I regret not being very helpful.

Re: DP 6.11 / SAP R3

But what is different by brtools?

Can you check this?

Re: DP 6.11 / SAP R3

Hi Shoghi Martinez G,

can you check your Configfile init.sap or other for changes. The 4.6 or 4.7 SAP Backup works fine. But what is different by ERP 6.0?

Thanks

Re: DP 6.11 / SAP R3

Hey, the main difference is the brtools version :), it has changed too.

I do not have SAP integration anymore to verify, and the details about the solutions of this are not clear in my mind.

Is this the only error you get in this job?
Also, can you check the sap.log?

Not very helpful, but is a starting.

Re: DP 6.11 / SAP R3

Hi,

in the Attachment is the complete Logfile. In the sapbackup Directory I can see for 5 second >.filename.lst< the file.

Thanks

Re: DP 6.11 / SAP R3

Maybe access problems with ora user and the adm user on the sapbackup folder?

Re: DP 6.11 / SAP R3

Hi,

the adm have write Permissions. For testing I have set Everyone FullControl.

Re: DP 6.11 / SAP R3

After some more detailed inspection on the error messages, the brbackint call is what is really failing, not the barbackup itself.

So you must start finding clues on the sap.log, inet.log and debug.log, I guess it is a Data Protector issue, not a BRTOOLS problems.

Re: DP 6.11 / SAP R3

Hello, have you found the solution for your problem. Unfortunately it is also my problem. I tried to update br* tools with no success.

Thanks in advance,
