DP 6.11 xinetd limit_per_source

at default we are receiving some limit_per_source errors attached to SP under xinetd. What is the impact of increasing this setting? and failing that what is the recommended setting as per Data Protector?

Re: DP 6.11 xinetd limit_per_source

Could you please provide some typical errors you're facing and some more details on used cell client, cell server and types of backups you perform? I've never seen such issues related to Data Protector and Linux. Do you have any other services running on the cell server that queries that host in an improper fashion? Do you run a high amount of parallel backups at the same time? (concurrency/load balancing settings)

If there is nothing special around feel free to increase the limit. I'd recommend to have a look at the running processes and network connections of that host anyway. (ps and netstat)
