Re: DP A.06.10...IPC error

Hi...
execute below mentioned command and post the output.

under the home directory of omniback ..

#omnisv -status
check all the process are running .
Is the problem only for one restore session or for all.

Check the given thread also .

Re: DP A.06.10...IPC error

Hi,

check omnisv -status as mentioned above. If one process is failing try omnisv -stop and afterwards omnisv -start.
I don't know if you work from a workstaion but you might wanna try to start your GUI again.

Robert

Hi,

please tell us what patchlevel you're on and try a omnidbcheck -extended.Please be aware that this can take quite some time.

Re: DP A.06.10...IPC error

hi ..Chidi from the logs i could find that the problem is with the buffer space .

>>3/8/2010 11:16:38 AM GUICORE.4788.6192 ["lib/ipc/ipc.c /main/hsl_dp61/17":5826] A.06.10 b611

Dump of the first 4 bytes:
00000000004F3C0C 30 00 35 00 0.5. >>>

The buffer in DP is hard-coated. Foe this you should install a patch by which u can get dynamic buffer space . The Patch is SSPNT_600_067 .

Its better to have a chat with HP engineer before doing this ..
