DP SAN backup

Jump to solution
Hi,

I've got a replication between sites currently backing up the Primary site locally.

Can the replicated data (filesystems) be backed up instead of the primary data?
I imagine it would need to be mounted as read-only disks.

Any thoughts/suggestions on how to to do this?

Hi,

You can use CA+BC functionality of ZDB to achive it.
Replicas can be mounted as RO or RW on the backup server.

Thanks

Is there any other way without using ZDB?
