(DP) Support Tip Push\Remote installation for Windows clients using IS doesn't work.

During Windows client upgrade running DP 10.x following error message is received.

 [Critical]  [110:1022] Cannot connect to the SCM (Service Control Manager) on client sov02dp125.paco.local:

      [5] Access is denied.

Requirements for configure Installation Server with DP 10.0x has been modified, new details has been included into documentation included with DP 10.02

On the Installation Server for Windows, a user account from the local operating system Administrator user group is used by the Installation Server during remote installation. Run the following command to set the Installation Server user:
omniinetpasswd -inst_srv_user User@Domain
A local administrator account on Installation Server system is sufficient but a domain account would also work if it is part of the local Administrator group.

Workaround / Fix

1º Clean current configuration

Omniinetpasswd –clean

2º Add account that will be used for remote installation into IS server, it must has right permissions.

Omniinetpasswd {UserName@Domain | Domain\UserName | UserName} [Password]

3º Configure it as installation user omniinetpasswd -inst_srv_user User@Domain

4º After that list user and you must see that.

C:\Windows\system32>omniinetpasswd -list
   jose@JMBDP
* administrator@jmbdp

(*)  Installation Server is using this user's credentials during push installation.
