(DP) Support Tip: Reporting Server 10.60 gives "Date format should be MM-DD-YYYY."

Micro Focus Data Protector 10.60 Cell Manager on Windows.
Micro Focus Data Protector 10.60 Reporting Server on Windows.

When running a "Session in Timeframe Reports" report,
the "/dp-reporting-gui/restws/reporting/list-of-sessions" report
and entering the data as follows
cellManagerName: <the Cell Manager's FQDN in lowercase>
from Date: 06-01-2020
to Date: 07-23-2020
aggregationBy: Daily

There is an error
"message": "Date format should be MM-DD-YYYY."

This error is present even if though the documented date format, MM-DD-YYYY, has been correctly used.

Take out all leading zeros in the Date Format like as follows
from Date: 6-1-2020
to Date: 7-23-2020
then the command runs without the error.

This defect will be fixed in a future DP version.

The cellManagerName hostname should be in lowercase.

Hi @Stewart

Thanks for the tip, it's really useful.

Just one thing, there is a forum for tips only, this forum is for questions. Maybe you can move this one there:
