DP version 5 / Solaris 10 / RedHat5 issues

Hi,

I am adding Solaris 10 and RedHat5 servers as clients in the Data Protector cell version 5.
I attached the error messages that appeared.
Please help.
Would upgrading DP to a higher version solve this problem ?

Hi,

Please check the support matrix of DP version.
Probably solaris 5.10 is not supported for that DP version.
The higher version could solve your problem.

Is DP 5.x compatible with Solaris 10 and Red Hat 5 clients ?

Those new OS are NOT supported by DP v5.0, there are not patch or fix to bypass that.

I recommend you to upgrade to DP 6.xx.

"5" is not adequate information. Is this 5.0, 5.1, or 5.5? 5.5 does Solaris 10 "ok".

The attachment, whatever it said, won't open for me, so no idea what the error is.
