Dataprotector IP adress Licensing question

We are currently migrating a DP server from 1 site to another.

In the new site we have a Management connection to each server (Management VLAN) for daily maintenance. Additionally the backup server will have two teamed NICs which will be connected to the Backup VLAN. Each server to be backupped will be connected to the backup VLAN.

Management VLAN IP range will be: 10.64.110.x
Backup VLAN IP range will be: 10.0.0.x

When changing the license for DP which is bound to the cell IP address, do we need to take the IP of the Management adapter or do we need to take the IP of the Backup adatper(s).

just wondering.

Re: Dataprotector IP adress Licensing question

I prefer to use the same IP address returned by the cell manager name used by clients, but it can be any, there is no problem with this, multihomed cell managers are common.
