Hello @Jeferson Silva

When I saw this error is for a missing user.

Try to add the following user into DP users with admin rights:

    • Type: Unix
    • Name: oracle
    • Group: asmadmin
    • Client: <Any>

Then retry the backup.

Hello @Victor_F_DP

I created the user as you recommended

Type: Unix
Name: oracle
Group: asmdba
Client: <Any>

Prints attached.

But the error is now another:

ERROR:
ORA-12514: TNS: listener does not currently know of service requested in connect
  descriptor
  CONNECT: USRBACKUP / ***** @ qa
[Major] From: **PERSONAL INFORMATION REMOVED** "" Time: 05/15/2020 01:21:37 PM
Backup of target database failed.

The group I mentioned was asmadmin not asmdba.

Anyway, that TNS message is another error and more related to Oracle side.

Sorted out.

It was the oracle user and group asmadmin the problem.

TNS was the service of Oracle.

Thank you @Victor_F_DP
