Hello dcampregher,

This error is very normal in DP 10.x and can have a lot of explanations. Here some of this:

  1. The correct user is not present in the Data Protector UserList file.Fix --> Check that hpdp (user being used for appserver service/daemon startup) user is present in the userlist.
  2. The "Protection" setting is missing in the backup specification.Fix --> Check “protection” setting (number of days/weeks/months can be missing) for specific backup specification using advance scheduler and set it correctly.

Hello,

Can you check the Cell_format file in your Cell Manager:

Windows: \ProgramData\OmniBack\Config\Server\cell\

Unix: /etc/opt/omni/server/cell/cell_format

Search if there is a line such as the following:

-key o1 -desc o1

If such a line appears, then change it as follows:

-key o1 -desc "o1"

If this does not work, then open a support ticket in order to collect the logs needed and start the investigation about the error.

Hope this helps

Hello dcampregher,

Your "Error in the Web Scheduler 10.02" (Internal Server Error / Error Adding Schedule in the screen and the schedule aren't saved) could be due to a lot of things, and so I would suggest that you log a support case so this can be investigated further.

Need to be investigated further - check the AppServer logs and recreate the error with DP DEBUGS enabled.

Is this a new install 10.X or was it from an upgrade?

Yes - it might be a permission issue and that is why need to get a debug trace.

Hope this helps

Rgds,

Sherman
