License for Capacity - CBL

I received an activation for increasing my license. I am on 9.09 and the license activation only allows me to chose a DP 10 license. Has anyone done this? my sales person said it should be ok, I just want to make sure.

Hi Tommy,

I've checked this a few weeks ago and the license portal does no longer allow to generate Data Protector 8.10 (which is obsolete now) or 9.00 license keys due to Micro Focus spin-merger. Based on my testing Data Protector 10.00 keys are accepted and working in a Data Protector 9.0x Cell Manager.

Thank you Sebastian, I thought that the license should be compatible but wanted some confirmation before I too ownership.
