We're seeing a backup failure since upgrading to DP 10.10 for monthly backup for a server. Failure is only occurring on Monthly backup schedule (full) but the weekly schedule (also a full) completes successfully. Error is shown below.

Hello @Kam_Melb

The variable OB2PORTRANGE is not needed anymore. Now all the data is transferred using the Inet port. Sometimes this variable causes problems actually. Remove it and restart the Inet.

Have you reconfigured the backup specification? This will be a good idea.

Also, make sure that secure comm is working fine between the CM and the CM. In both ways. You can run this command: omnicc -secure_comm -reconfigure_peer hostname

Re: Monthly Backup Failure Error 10054

Hi Victor

thanks for the response. I've checked that secure comms is working fine and have run the secure_comms command. I've also removed the port range setting on omnirc and restarted DP services. I'll monitor the next monthly which is scheduled for next month.
