OmniBack 3.1 and Lotus Notes R5

Hey all!

I'm looking for any information about how OmniBack works with Lotus Notes R5, specifically with regards to the transactional logging in Notes R5. We currently run Notes 4.6, backed up with OmniBack and Open File Manager. Anyone have any information about Notes R5 (transactional logging) and how this affects backups via OmniBack? ANY information is appreciated!

Thanks!

Re: OmniBack 3.1 and Lotus Notes R5

Here is the official word from HP quote/unquote

"Lotus Domino R5 is not currently supported and there are no plans to support online backups of Domino on HP-UX. As a suggestion, the alternative is to use Open File Manager (OFM) with your Lotus
application, to backup open files.
Note: In this case Open File Manager (OFM) appears to only work on NT and Novell."

There is a whitepaper/FAQ but you will need to dig for it...If I find it first, I will post the URL...

Open file utilities are use at your own risk, but they may be useful...the bottom line it TEST, TEST, TEST...
