Jump to solution
Is there an Omniback client, or has someone gotten Omni working well on FreeBSD 4.1?

These are all the platforms it supports no freebsd yet but you could back it up via NFS although it would be a bit painful depending on how big the disks were.

Windows 95, 98, 2000, or NT 3.51 or 4.0 (Intel)
Novell NetWare 3.2, 4.10, 4.11, 4.2, or 5.0
HP-UX 10.x or 11.x
HP MPE/iX 5.5
Sun Solaris 2.5, 2.6, or 7
SunOS 4.1.4
Linux - Red Hat Distribution 5.2 or 6.x (Intel)
Linux - SuSE 6.x (Intel)
IBM AIX 4.2.x or 4.3.x
SGI IRIX 6.4 or 6.5
SNI SINIX 5.4.3 or 5.4.4
SCO OpenServer 5.0.5, SCO Unixware 7.x (Intel)
Digital UNIX 4.0D, Compaq Tru64 UNIX Version 5.0
MP-RAS NCR V4_3.0 (Intel)
DYNIX Sequent 4.4.2 (Intel)
Minimum effort maximum output!

You can probably share your BSD disks using Samba or NFS to another machine where Omniback does run.
Omniback and NT problems? double check name resolution, DNS/HOSTS...
