Pre-requisitos para instalar clientes Linux no DP.

 

  1. a) garanta que o cliente Linux é suportado, consultando HP Data Protector Platform and integration support matrix

         1.b) garanta que o cliente Linux já tenha instalados os pacotes:

 

  1. xinetd
  2. rpm

 

Ambos são pré-requisitos para a correta instalação e funcionamento do Data Protector.

 

  1. c) verifique o arquivo /etc/services e comente as entradas:

 

personal-agent                     5555/tcp  # Personal Agent

personal-agent                     5555/udp  # Personal Agent

 

                Elas conflituam com a porta tcp utilizada pelo Data Protector.

 

  1. d) Garanta que a porta 5555 não esteja bloqueda no firewall

 

  1. e) Garanta as compatibilidades de bibliotecas abaixo:

 

  1. d) Have the compatibility package.

 

 

# rpm -qa |grep glibc

glibc-devel-2.12-1.192.el6.x86_64

glibc-common-2.12-1.192.el6.x86_64

compat-glibc-headers-2.5-46.2.x86_64

O comando para instalar:

 yum install glibc.i686

 

Have net-tools installed (some net-tools utilities are needed during installation).

 

  1. e) Garanta que o file system onde está montado o /tmp não esteja com a flag noexec, caso contrário, uma mensagem de falta de permissões será emitida durante a instalação.
