Set name is duplicated VEPA

Hello,

I have this problem for backing up a VM,

[Major] From: OB2BAR_VEPA_BAR@xxxxx.xxxxx "xxxx" Time: 28/09/2019 18:02:48
Received ABORT request from BSM (ERR: Set name is duplicated. )

Does anyone know the root cause of this problem?

I tried to fix this problem by doing the tmp directory hijacking in C:\programdata\omniback\tmp, restarting the services and creating a new job for the VM.

I have this problem for backing up a VM.

Best regards,

Re: Set name is duplicated VEPA

Hello @ServiceDeskS

I have checked in one of our lab cases and this problem was explained. The situation here is that some VMs have the same UUID, and for that reason it fails. There is a document from VMware that explains that issue:

https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/2006865

Confirm if some of your VMs have the same UUID, if so, you will need to work with VMware to solve it.

An idea I have is to create different backups to split the VMs where the UUID is unique. This can help you as a workaround.
