Simplivity Support

We are deploying simplivity with vmware 6.5 and we have data protector 9.09 .

We'd like to know if it's a supported release and if not which data protector release is supported with simplivity and vmware 6.5

Re: Simplivity Support

Hi @stefano colombo1,

There is no special certification for HPE SimpliVity so checking VMware 6.5 support is enough. You can find the support matrix for A.09.09 and A.10.20 here. Look for the Virtualization Support Matrix.

Support Matrices for DP 9.0x

Support Matrices for DP 10.20

Re: Simplivity Support

Hello @stefano colombo1 ,

Be careful with the version of vCenter/VMware you have. DP 9.09 only supports 6.5, with no updates.

For example, the vCenter 6.5 U1 is not supported on this version.

To see your exact version of vCenter, check on this link: https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/2143838

Let us know if your question is solved.
