Vsa storeonce change nic type in vmware

Hi everyone. I'm now working with a new vsa appliance hosted on vmware hypervisor. I see that the 2 network cards in the vm are e1000. This resulting in poor performance since i can have a 10gb net.

So question is: Can i remove the NICs in the vsa and put some vmxnet3 without disturbing the license? Don't want to encounter and "Cluster ID mismatch" at boot.

Thanks

Re: Vsa storeonce change nic type in vmware

We'll did a test and with version 3.13.5 the nic change whitout a problem. Did a snapshot prior to the change and everything is working perfectly.

Tried whit version 3.11.4 and got the cluster ID Mismatch... upgarded to 3.13.5 and it changed perfectly. Reboot several times and everything is working fine!
