A presentation is being created for:
Storage volume name : 50001FE1500C4B30\\Virtual Disks\Windows\FS-03 Fata\DP-2010.11.19-30-04CE684D6

Re: ZDB Backup failed

This happens when the host name on the EVA system is different from the network hostname of the server...

For example, your server has the network name hsc-win-20.hsc-domain.int, but in Command View, the Host is called "HSC" only...

That causes that, when Data Protector contacts the EVA system to perform the replica, it cannot find any match hostname...

You have two possibilities... either you rename your hosts on EVA so that they match their network name.

Or, like stated on the ZDB Admin Guide:

--------------------------------------------

If the hostname on the EVA storage system is different from the network hostname,
use the omnirc variable EVA_HOSTNAMEALIASES to define the backup system
object name.
