verify DP Component installation

Hi Team,

 

can you please guide how to verify whether disk agent, media agent and core agent is installed in windows system.

control panel shows on data protector agent with version and there is only service is running for dpagent.

 

Please suggest command to verify in windows system

Hi,

on regedit show components installed

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Hewlett-Packard\OpenView\OmniBackII\Agents

You can do what @Eblyn Solis suggested. 

Also, you can check omni_info into ProgramData\OmniBack\Config\client. And that work for Linux too (/etc/opt/omni/client)

under the path i see the file named omni_info and the file contains

 

-key cc -desc "User Interface" -nlsset 159 -nlsId 12176 -flags 0x3 -ntpath "" -uxpath "" -version A.09.00
-key da -desc "Disk Agent" -nlsset 159 -nlsId 12162 -flags 0x3 -ntpath "" -uxpath "" -version A.09.00
-key ma -desc "General Media Agent" -nlsset 159 -nlsId 12163 -flags 0x10003 -ntpath "" -uxpath "" -version A.09.00
-key ts_core -desc "Core Technology Stack" -nlsset 159 -nlsId 12288 -version A.09.00

 

can you conform is this right.

hi,

is correct you have GUI , Disk Agent y Media Agen installed.
