when we used omnib permission error in soraris

hello I'm haesu 

we are data protector version is A10.60 and soraris version is 5.10

we should used /opt/omni/bin/omnib in soraris 

but after add userlist on cell manager and then we used omnib 

however occur error message like this [31:20] you have no permission to start a backup

but i used other OS 

OS is red hat 6

and i used omnib in red hat 6

It is successfully backup by omnib 

what is different red hat 6 and soraris  when we used omnib 

how to used omnib in soraris?

please tell me

Hello @djgotn89,

Maybe the Solaris system sends a different host name (maybe a FQDN) to the Cell Manager. Check crsevents.log on the Cell Manager after running the command. If the log file is not there, enable LogCrsEvents=1 in the global configuration file  and restart the services (omnisv -restart).
