ProgId's and file associations

Have been playing around with ZAV8 on and off for a while

Have started working on progid's and file associations for virtual apps (think adobe reader, zip programs etc)

Something like a zip program has heaps of file associations and i'd hate to think of how fiddly it would be to make a progid and association for each file type and each action I was for my virtual app

Is there an easier way for this to be done with the MSI functions in ZAV, as the demo apps don't give any progid's by default - do apps that you snapshot give progid's to the MSI section so you don't have to populate it yourself?

It should be populated automatically under the Setup "tab". If you create an MSI from there it will include everything or you can use the XReg tool if you do not want to use MSI's. See chapter 7.1 "Registering virtual applications in the windows shell" for more information about the XReg tool.
