Disable Building the Solution when running Code Review

Disable Building the Solution when running Code Review

When running Code Review, the entire solution is rebuit during the process which can be time consuming.

The build of the solution can be stopped using the undocumented Registry Setting below:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Micro Focus\DevPartner\CodeReview\NMCR\SkipBuild

Value of 1

If you are going to be running against a project that is not built certain rules that inspect the meta data of the assembly will not run or flag potential issues.

Also, code that contains incorrect syntax can cause unexpected behavior, including hangs and crashes with attempting to parse the code. Please ensure any corrected soiurce code files have successfully compiled at least once prior to running Code Review with the SkipBuild switch active.
