"Developers who prefer to create their own stubs in a language other than Java (for example, in .NET or C++) can refer to the provided Web Application Description Language (WADL) and Web Services Description Language (WSDL) to help them generate client-side classes for the selected language"

I wasn't able to find the documents containing the WADL and WSDL - are they published on Protect?

Derek is correct. The specifications for WADL and WSDL are standards and covered by the respective links on page 11 of the ESM Service Layer Developer's Guide.
