agent install loging results to web server

When I configured the agent MSI for deployment I selected the option to log the results to a web server and specified the zesm server as the destination. I'm deploying using ZCM and whenever the agent bundle runs on a workstation it attempts to open a web page to record the success or failure. I'm getting an HTTP 404 error stating that the /EventLogger/PostEvent.aspx cannot be found.

I've been searching the documentation, Google, forums, etc. in vain trying to find out what is missing in the ZESM configuration on the server to make this work.

Thanks.

Re: agent install loging results to web server

I spoke to the Novell people at GWAVAcon in January and was told that the option to log results to a web server was a hold-over from the days when web security wasn't so tight and shouldn't be used as it doesn't work. They said there are no plans to fix it - the guy I talked to said he wished they would take the option out of the installer.
