How to overcome Enterprise Analyzer installation error - Process exited with code -939523550
When installing Enterprise Analyzer the following error is reported in the install.log
Installing using command 'C:\Users\lyn3435\AppData\Local\Temp\VSD7BCA.tmp\DotNetFX40\dotNetFx40_Full_x86_x64.exe' and parameters ' /q /norestart /ChainingPackage FullX64Bootstrapper' Process exited with code -939523550
This stops the installation, how can this be avoided..?
This is basically caused by the inclusion of the DotNet functionality within the Windows installation & updates
The problem is fixed by installing Windows 7 Service Pack 1 and then installing Enterprise Analyzer again.
