We receive a warning message during verification in Modernization Workbench.  The message appears as "Number of Paths Exceeded  Processing Limit of XX", where XX is a number.  In some cases, this can actually affect analysis as you might see a limited number of relationships, as opposed to the full expected results.

It turns out that the complexity of the program can result in missing activities that need to be accounted for by raising the maximum number of variable values allowed for analysis.

To increase this value, user can go to Tools - Project Options - Verification - Cobol File - Advanced Program Analysis - Advanced.

There is an option called Maximum Number of Variable's Values, which usually has a default value of 30 or so.  Increasing this number and re-verifying the program will return the missing analysis.
