COBOL programs are opening in the binary editor or notepad by default in EDVS2019

COBOL programs are opening in the binary editor or notepad by default in EDVS2019

Problem:

In the EDVS2019 5.0 PU08 IDE, COBOL programs are opening in the binary editor or notepad instead of the default COBOL editor. The option to open the files with the COBOL editor is not available.

Solution:

This appears to be a VS2019 bug. Deleting the extra spaces at the bottom of the programs resolves the issue.
