Printing in CGI on IIS7

Does any one have experience with printing from CGI in IIS7?

We are attempting to print using -Q \\user\printer;DIRECT=ON but the print job ignores this and goes to a printer of it's choosing. (Not necessarily the Windows default printer on the iis machine.) WIN$PRINT will not show the installed printers.

WINPRINT-SUPPORTED returns a 1.

Ant help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Steve

RE: Printing in CGI on IIS7

I have not experimented with this, but here are my thoughts .. the user (user name) for IIS is not what most people think it is, and therefore when you look at the default printer, you may not be looking at the default printer for IIS. -Q \\somewhere-else will involve permissions, permissions for the account running IIS to acceess a remote machine and remote machine services like printing. Sorry I could give a more definitive answer.
